The Tale of the Three Major Leagues, by Martin Rogers (Hobbs & Elliot Press)
A word of introduction
I've been working on the game you're about to read a relation of since 2014. Like so many other players (dynasty writers or not), I've designed logos, baseball cards, schedules, uniforms, etc. for all eras to fit this particular game. (some of the uniforms were kindly done by txranger, I will never thank him enough.) This game is a labor of love, I thought about sharing the story for a long while before taking the jump. And here we are. Updates may eventually become few and far between, but I’ll try to keep this dynasty going at a decent pace. I hope you have fun reading it. Disclaimer This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events and incidents are either the products of the author’s imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. Special thanks to Markus Heinsohn and his team for making one of the greatest games I’ve ever played. ************************************************** ***************** The game set-up I'm playing in God-mode. No changes are made except to owners names / backstories. Storylines are on. Automatic evolution checked for more/less offense, more/less pitching, DL length & roster size only. Historical modifiers / league totals are used. I'm using the Association feature... I love OOTP's red-headed stepchild. ************************************************** ***************** Table of Contents The Covers The Foreword Chapter 1: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Final Part Chapter 2: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Final Part Chapter 3: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Final Part Chapter 4: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Final Part Chapter 5: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5 Appendix: 1869-1871, 1872, 1873, 1874, 1875, 1876 Last edited by Hankyu Braves; 06-11-2017 at 05:13 AM. You put the AAPBB Museum in Harrisburg, my hometown, And association writing with storylines restricted to offense/defense, and a historical slant that holds true to era.
You're after my heart. And my creativity. |

Although I have so far shared Martin Rogers' book in order, I feel that I should also, from time to time, share the yearly standings and key statistics published in the Appendix to make it easier to follow.

I'm using Inkscape (a freeware vector graphics editor, in case you've never heard of it). I'm not happy with the look of the indentation (too irregular), but I'm not competent enough with Inkscape to write the appropriate changes. |
