Using Glass Textures/Transparency Techniques
Hello,
What are you finding is the best method for painting glass textures in your ballparks? With .png files it’s easy enough to have transparency “between” colours (ie, chain fences), but that won’t work for “tinted glass” would it? I’ve tried the default sketch up texture and doesn’t seem to work inside OOTP. All the solid colours show up as black (presumably because there is no texture for them?) and glass works the same. Would love your ideas and suggestions. |

I've always dealt with glass elements as solid textures, either from photos or Photoshopped to look like it's behind glass. Stuff like press boxes or facade windows. I don't think having virtual glass panes really pays off with the 3d engine the game uses.

I used glass in my Inferno Park for the railings on the right field BBQ patio & bar, and it seemed to work fine... it was one of the stock textures I believe.
