MLB 2007 Roster set
To get to my roster go to this site and then select the rosters tab and select my rosters.
http://www.padresfanmods.net/ Now this is an update of Cubbyfans roster. I did not change any stats for players because that is a little out of my league. The following is what I did to his rosters: 1. Updated a lot of contracts(dollars and length) a. All big contracts where updated, the ones I didn't touch was if someone was making less then about $600,000. Also if a player has a player or team option I didn't include that. 2. Updated roster moves. a. I did my best with roster moves. I know everything isn't perfect mostly with players not in the majors. If it wasn't a major trade then I might not have done it. 3. I updated all the ticket prices to match the avg ticket price for this year. a. When you take over a team, watch and make sure fans are going pay the price. If not then change it to what they will. 4. I updated all the market size, fan loyaltys, fan interest, team focus a. You may want to change the team focus of the team you take over depending on what you plan for your team 5. Injuries a. If a player is injured for the season I put that on here and some players are only injured for 3 months in real life but since this is starting on jan 1st I take on the extra time. Clemens is injured till june just so everyone knows. 6. I updated the head coaches contracts(lenght and money) I think thats it If you disagree with something with player ratings then you change it because ratings are something that I know much about changing. But if you see something wrong with contracts or players on the wrong team then post the link to where you got your information and I will update it and then release and update if there are a lot of things wrong. I hope this roster makes the game enjoyable for those that haven't been able to have fun with it since we haven't had any updated rosters. I would recommend downloading logos and pictures for this file because none are included. I wanted the file to be small so you could jump right in and see if you like it Thanks go to cubbyfan, mattkma, and all the ootp fans out there. I have run in to a problem with the set. Cincinnati Reds -Josh Hamilton. Does not show up on any of their rosters but when you search for him it says he is on the MLB roster. Any ideas??

I would extract it to your desktop. Then cut it and paste it into your saved game folder. To get to the saved game folder you should click on the my documents folder, then there should be a folder called sports interactive, click it. Then click ootp 2007 folder, then click data, then click saved games folder. Put the folder in there and then start the game and load it. There are 2 sports interactive folders, one in your my documents folder and 1 in your programs folder, don't go to your programs folder one. Hope that helps if not just post again if you are still having problems.

The set I used was gambos. You can get it here. http://www.padresfanmods.net/.
Its a large set and contains ppl from a long time ago but you never know if you might want to play a team from the 20s or 30s. So I would download it. |

Looks like a great set - but is anyone else seeing every position player unrated in every fielding category?
Scouting is turned off and I already tried having SISA rescout... |

Am I missing something? I can't figure out how to edit players. Do you just have to turn something on in an options menu? If so, where do I do that? Thanks a million!

Go to options under the manager drop-down and check "Play in commisioner mode" - then you'll see the editor tab. |

to edit players go to your manager screen and select the manager options tab. Then select the commish option. Then when you go to select a player there will be a tab to edit them.

Ok as far as Dinardo goes, thanks for pointing that out I will fix that. Choi is actually a free agent now so I will fix that. As far as papelbon, that is tricky because he is the closer but only because the redsox need him to be and they are sure if his shoulder(or arm) will hold up. He was going into the season as a starter so he has the endurance rating to be a starter. I'm not going to mess with his ratings because he can be a starter if he wants. If you want you should probably change his endurance to be lower, but he can be a starter if he wants to and probably would be if it wasn't for the redsox having healthy pitchers. As far as the other stuff that you commented on, I agree with the way you have the rotations setup but once the computer takes over a team it decided to change all of it and the only way to fix that would be to change all the players ratings. Please keep posting anything you see wrong. Once there is a lot of things that need fixing, I will post a new updated roster. |
