Best way to manage inactive cards?

Hey All!

What are your best strategies for managing inactive cards when the collection really starts to grow? I've found it to be a pretty tedious, manual process so far. Anything I'm missing?

I agree with your comment.

I feel like something is missing in the management aspect of the game.

For example, I wish there was a way to designate some cards into a separate area so they don't get accidentally sold or mixed with everything else.

In the same regard, I wish cards that come back from the auction house would also drop into a separate area so they are easy to spot and re-list in the AH.

I am not an expert in the area of electronic collection games but there are probably many other improvements that have not been implemented yet.

yeah. fifa has a "transfer list" section where cards you are auctioning off are listed separately and if they don't sell you can relist all of them with the same parameters in a single click, or individually re-list/send back to team

in PT i always forget who I have on the market and then have to parse thru the inactive roster trying to remember if it was someone that just didnt sell or I didnt want to sell

I was kind of hoping the upcoming collection feature would make handling your reserve roster/collection easier.

I think adding filters & search options beyond just the current sorting to the reserve roster would help.

I agree. In addition, I'd like a ratings page for all cards in a collection so you could filter and find the best players of a type for tournaments. Just the big three they show now isn't enough. It doesn't include defense and more things like Gap that would want to know to make a decision. And clicking on hundreds of cards sounds like a royal pain.

My suggestion: Be able to create TAGS for each player (IE: Bronze, Reds, Favorites, Deadball, etc) so that when you call up a certain tag you create, then only those players would show up and be filtered. THen you could mass-select for tournaments and so on. Just my .02

I like the idea once you have a rating page to filter on to find the cards you want to tag. You still need a way to sort through a ton of cards to find those targets for tagging.

Are there going to be tournaments for bronze cards only? Or players rated between 40-50? Is there a reason to not sell these lowly rated players when you get them?

We also need a name search for the de-activated players.

I wanted to see if I have certain players without trying scrolling through 1000s of players.

I am all for some sort of in-game storage and sorting improvement for different types of cards, especially the AH list. It is currently a nightmare as we build any kind of collection for future tournaments and missions.

The basic goal for me (for the inactives) is to look at the cards and evaluate them for keeping/selling and to help me make roster decisions.

Essentially, I wish we had a way of creating our own inactives shortlist that allow us to move players to our own lists.
So any player listed on the AH could still show on my AH shortlist.

We also need a way to fully look at the cards without having to activate them.
Right now I can’t really look at the cards (stats).

As of today, it feels like owning a Topps card box with all cards of the season.
My cards are in the box but it is hard to tell anything about them.
