keeping the same team together regardless of age.
What would be the easiest way to do this? Say I want to keep a copy of the 27 Yankees and them watch them go through and age normally all as a team, with no new players. Like they were the Rolling Stones or something, still in a league. How would I accomplish this? Make them all untradable? Make their career end age like 60? I'm trying to do something different this time through that would involve this, although maybe not to the extremes of playing til they are 60. Just curious as to what would be possible and not. Thanks, any ideas would be helpful.

Start a historical league in 1927. Enable reserve clause financials. Use reserve rosters with unlimited size. Disable trading. Turn off injuries to prevent CEI (you can make fatigue high to keep players from playing every game). Disable the amateur draft and have rookies go to their historical debut teams (not free agents).
