When there is a player I have been waiting for I try to hop on the first one that goes up for sale in the AH. Many times I have ended up paying more than I probably should have but I look at it two ways: 1. I'm helping inject more money into the game for new and better development. Been waiting for an NFL version for over a decade. 2. I'm throwing a reward to whoever was lucky enough to pull the card. I always hope it's some kid who doesn't have a dime to put into the game and all of a sudden hits the jackpot. |

Just don't get it...algorithm or not. Live card ratings should be earned or based off of historical performance. Period.
It's also unjust to those who paid much more to get FL Vlad Jr. thinking it was his projected potential manifested in a card...only to have his live card look almost exactly alike and be available at a much higher drop rate. What the algorithm spits out should not be final. If the card ratings it spit out was a surprise...then the human element should have kicked in and fixed it so it wasn't a surprise, so that it made sense. To me whether or not his ratings go up and down is irrelevant...it's the precedent that's been set that worries me. Only reason I'm posting is to provide feedback on a game I truly enjoy in hopes that future decisions in the same vein are looked at more carefully.

the issue is we DO like their common sense approach, which is based on the projections. There's nothing in this year's projections suggesting Vlad should have a contact rating 20 points higher than any other live card. Future Legend? Sure.

Also I consider my post to be feedback. I'm not a complainer by nature but this feels off enough that I wanted to chime in. If it's common sense to bring in a card at ratings that aren't earned or projected I'm at a loss. Am I so far off that it even surprised Markus when the ratings came out? That to me is a 'common sense' sign that something isn't quite right with the result.

I have that MLB watch any game thing since I lifted my 25 year boycott.....I should watch some Blue Jays games. He didn't look very good when I saw him against the Twins. Glad I ended my boycott as my favorite team is leading the majors in wins.
