Jadetorc,
The first one you listed, about the missing team name in the news entry, is a well-known and quite annoying bug that has been around since OOTP5 or earlier. Here's a thread I started on it over three months ago. The second post, about one team being one-third of an inning short, is harder to figure... I see that the same team's LF has an error, and there are a number of problems that still come up when there's a sacrifice fly & wild throw to the plate, so if you have it, check the game log and see what happened on the LF's error.

"The ice is getting more thinner, my friend!"
Has it always been like this? I can't believe I haven't noticed this until now. |

holy christmas you would actuallt think this is a school or something the way you wanna fix crap i na sim game
the game is awesome with 6.5 or 6 or whatever the version so there are a few misspelled words in the friggin game programers are not perfect the programers at OOTP did an awesome job from bringing the OOTP baseball up from what it was to the current state that it is in with the waiver draft and free agents and all that we have asked of them in upcoming versions so lets give em some slack for a few misspelled words |

One I just noticed in 6.51 when Jim Thome hit 500 HRs:
Monday 10/2/2006: Jim Thome slams 500th homerun SEATTLE - Seattle's players had every reason to congratulate Jim Thome, who reached a milestone today, slamming his 500th career longball! Along with his 500 homeruns, Jim collected 1880 hits and 1357 RBI in 15 seasons. Jim has managed to hit 30+ homeruns in a season 10 times, and he topped 40 homeruns 6 times. 'My firends always told me that I will do it one day. I never believed it. Good that I was wrong!' His monumental drive, a solo homerun off Jake Peavy in the 6th inning, cleared the fence in left field. The Hall of Fame already has reserved a place for this great player. |

I'd guess that this thread should be unstickied and locked about now. No more changes/fixes for the 6.x series in this area are coming. The next version is a "from the ground-up" rebuild, so I'm not sure there's much of a point to this anymore.

Strange PbP
This just happened in a game between the San Diego Padres and The Florida Marlins. After the batter struck out, the play by play said "And he goes back to the dugout, picking his nose" Now come on!!!!!
