Shop for Prospects?

Love the game. However I've noticed that whenever I shop a player the computer never offers minor league players, only players on the active roster.

This makes it more difficult to rebuild. Not sure if this is an Android only issue or not as the screenshots in the new feature walkthrough seemed to show the computer offering minor league players as well as players in the majors (and their current year stats).

I see some prospects on that screenshot... keep in mind, shopping a player around does not give you the best possible deal, you should see this as a starting point and demand more in actual trade negotiations.

Sorry, should have been more clear in my post.

I copied the screen shot above from the new feature walkthrough posted by BradC as a sticky in this forum. I believe his walkthrough was done on an Apple device.

I am playing on Android. The difference is no minor league players appear when I shop a player.

You only get prospects offered if you do indeed shop around decent players...

Understood. From Toronto I shopped Jose Bautista in May and received an offer of Victor Martinez or Jayson Werth.

Thinking it may have to do with salary / age I shopped Aaron Sanchez as well and was offered Anibal Sanchez, Starlin Castro or Jung-Ho Kang.

Also tried Dalton Pompey and was offered Marcus Semien or Stephen Strasburg (admittedly both good offers).

In all three cases no minor league players were ever offered.

Also I noticed that no stats are shown. From the screen shot I posted above it appears that it should show their stats if they are currently in the majors correct?

As Markus suggests, if I am rebuilding (and that is my favorite part) I use the shop feature as a starting point.

Just like in real life, you have to make many 'phone calls' to close a deal. (Okay...in today's world, many text msgs...lol)
