Starting a new historical league
Looking for a little help...I'd like to play a historical league in which I import all players from the 1st season to 2012 in a draft pool. I tried it but it seemed to only import specific players.
Is this possible? Thanks in advance. |

You can't really do this unless you're going to use the random debut option and start in 2012. To my knowledge, there is no way to create a historical league that starts in 2012 but begins with players from 1871.
If you want to have players from 1871 who play in a modern context based on the 2012 baseball world, you can always create a historical league that starts in 1871 but use the advanced setup to import all the various settings and league totals from 2012. As long as you don't let the game update the settings each year based on the historical year in question, you could have your historical players perform under current MLB conditions. But I'm not even sure exactly what you're trying to do. So maybe I'm off base. |
