Their jerseys haven't been revealed yet, correct?

Broken links for me. I see ballcaps in their team store, but no jerseys.

Not sure why that's happening for you... But it seems most of us are seeing the post from Scott

Norwich Whalers would have been a great name for me... even has some everlovin' alliteration in it... not primary with the N, but secondary with the W's.

Use a Whale as the mascot instead of the stupid Sea Unicorn, whatever that is.

I think the logos look really nice, and for real I think that I rather have teams with names like these than teams with just the names of the parent club. Looking at you Syracuse Mets... Also I'm not saying that all of the names are good, I just like minor league teams being somewhat different.

The logos are well done... just weird... sea unicorn must be a made-up word.

Agree with you that I like a nickname that differs from the parent team... it would be good if they would find a nickname related to the parent team nickname, but difference from it.

Yeah I agree with that I feel like Norwich Narwhals would of been a better name. Same with Missoula, I felt like Missoula Moose would of been way better too.

Sea Unicorn is actually not a made-up word. It is a very common nickname for Narwhals.

Thanks for the info, cephasjames.

How do you pronounce "Narwhals"?

"nahr-whalls" or "nahr-whales"?

Would really like to thank you for the 5000 logos... they are a wonderful source for teams, logos, jerseys and caps.
I have used hundreds of them in my dynasty leagues.

Thank you.

Thanks!

According to Google it's pronounced naar-waal. Like if a pirate were saying it: "Thar be a naarwaal on the portside, mateys!"

Florence Blue Grassers would be my suggestion... pick something related to the town, don't try to make up a new nickname with no meaning.

The town is only 11 miles from Cincinnati.
May be Florence Big Reds... or Florence Red Machines.

Hope Go-Goettas wins... at least that has a positive element that could be related to baseball.

After a little research about the town history, maybe Y'alls may be the best.
I like that water tower.
I could live with that nickname.
Colors should be Red and White... connection to the water tower and to the Cincy Reds.
I grew up in Northern Kentucky about 5 miles from Florence and moved to downtown Cincy about 5 years ago. When I first saw the list of names, I thought "That's it?" Not sure what I was expecting but I guess I thought there would be something better. Some names have grown on me though. I liked the No Sox at first but the Go-Goettas has grown on me. Plus, the logo could just be a square patty of goetta (pork mixed with oats and fried - it's yummy!) with eyes and holding a bat! The Y'alls would make sense because of the water tower.

Contest was supposed to end today and they are going to announce a name within the next two weeks. The Florence games are fun to go to. Hopefully a good name will be picked. Will share once they announce!

Thanks for the info... didn't know goetta was a dish.

I love going to minor league and independent league games... on vacation, my wife -- she loves baseball and is a great scorebook keeper -- and I always try to work in some local teams.

Would like to move to a town that has a minor league team, so I could attend their games... Asheville looks good and it's a very nice place to live.... and the Tourists have been there a long time.

Wouldn't want to move to a town and the team folds.
