Hi, I've had ootp14 since the baseball season ended. I can't believe all the things the game can do. However, I still can't figure out how to release all the players in a season and then have a draft. Also, if there a way to put 1936 Joe DiMaggio on the 2013 Cleveland Indians. Thank you everyone.

For the draft, you should be able just to go into commissioner mode, then go to League Menu>League Setup>Schedule Fantasy Draft. To release everyone anyway, do the same, except scroll down on the second column and click clear rosters.
Not aure about the Dimaggio thing, you might have to ask someone else.

What he said for the draft. As far as The Yankee Clipper. Go to the FA screen whiel in Commish mode and select Import Historical Player. A box is going to pop up (hopefully the correct one) it should be the stats folder. If not navigate your way to the OOTP 14 stats folder and select historical database ODB or Master.cvs. I use ODB (I just like 'Ol Dirty Bastard) If your on a MAC it is somewhere in My Library PC My Documents OOTP 14. Anyway after you slect ODB another box will pop up then you want to ednter teh players baseball reference ID. It is located in the SHMTL. 99% of the time it is the 1st 5 letters of the players last name and the 1st 2 letters of the players 1st name and then 01. Michael Johnson there might be 9 of them so you might want 09 vs 02.
For Joltin Joe it is dimagjo01 then choose the year for my example I choose 1936.

Choose the rest of your options. After you import him go into the Editor aon his player page and manually assign him to Cleveland. i always erase Pro Service years if he comes in as a rookie the # tends to always be 55. I also would give him a minor league deal otherwise he plays for free and will be a FA, most likely after the 1st season. I am wrong about the last part, but i typically dont bring them in during a season. Joe would make $439 K in 2018. Run a scouting report on him as he may come in with his ratings blank. i use 100% scouting.
