How to improve Shots on Goal
I've only been playing this for a couple of weeks so apologies if this is a stupid question.
I've started a Path to Glory game and my first season went pretty well. I got my team to the playoffs and although we didn't win I was pleased with how they did. Now I've been promoted to an OHL team and I'm struggling. I've been tasked by the owner to rebuild the team. I'm in my second season now and no matter what I do my shots on goal numbers are terrible. I've got good offensive and defensive coaches, I've got decent players on offence and defence but the numbers just don't seem to be changing. I'm getting outshot by about 50% Clearly I'm doing something wrong so if anyone has any advice I'm all ears. Last edited by Hils; 07-09-2017 at 11:24 AM. Reason: Added screenshot |

make sure players are 5/5 at their role. Could also be your tactics, some of them are really conservative so you wnt get many shots. Another possibility is that a good amount of other teams in your league are running a tactic that hard counters yours so maybe try changing it.

I would set up a tactic that involves a lot of shooting.
You could se that at the tactics screen regarding priorities (skating/pass/shoot). I'm using "The Funnel" with Vancouver and has usually many shoots on their goal. |
