I just figured out a better way to use templates
I'm sure many of you have been doing this all along, but I just found a better way to use templates in Fictional setup.
Previously, when creating a complex fictional setup, I'd get everything set up - say 9 leagues, all in different regions with nations, cities, team names, rules, and options, the whole shebang - I'd get them all set up just as I wanted and then save as a template. This time, I'm setting up every individual league as its own template and then adding templates as needed to a universe during setup. The main advantage is you can add just what you want and not have to worry about which rules and leagues you have to delete or change for any particular version. Just drop in a league template and make your adjustments when they are fresh in your mind rather than having to remember all the odd settings you had in the giant template. Anyway, this probably only applies to a few of you who play complex fictional games, but figured I'd share the discovery. Cheers
