How to find the best tactic for your team?
Hi,
I just bought FHM3 and I'm totally enjoying the game. The only real issue I have is in finding the best tactic for my team. Although I generally like the concept of having predefined concepts, I found it easier to set tactics for each line and player as it was in Eastside. I'm currently doing a rebuild of the Canucks and I know they're not that good, but I'm really getting thrashed most of the games: my current record is 9-17-2. I think my roster isn't that bad: Landeskog - O'Reilly - Granlund Baertschi - Horvat - Hansen Teräväinen - Sutter - Dorsett Gaunce - Glendenning - Virtanen Edler - Ceci R. Murray - Tanev Hutton - Sbisa Markström Miller So I thought I'd ask here how you guys solve this? What are the indicators you look for when setting your tactics?

Cycling normally works well with the Canucks because of the Sedins, but it looks like you don't have them any more. With that lineup, you're really short on scoring but have some toughness, so I'd go with a combination like Puck Control and Neutral Zone trap to take advantage of your size and keep the scores as low as possible.

Yes, I traded both Sedins and Eriksson to shed some salary and make the squad younger and a bit tougher.

I'm still having real difficulties with this, so if anybody can recommend a good guide it would be greatly appreciated.
I did improve my team quite a bit, but I'm nearly as bad in the standings as I was in the first season - despite using Jeff's recommendations (Puck Control and Neutral Zone Trap). Here's my team, what do you think, which tactics should I apply? Landeskog - Wennberg - O'Reilly Drouin - Horvat - Tatar Hansen - Sutter - Virtanen Agostino - Gaunce - Baertschi Hanifin - Ceci Murray - Gudbransson Hutton - Tanev Bishop Markström

I am much more curious about how to maintain in-game control of momentum when you are leading, say, 2-0. I often let my opposition level the game and i dont understand why. Nothing works. Nor rematching the lines nor putting more counter roles. Or sometimes it is even worse - momentum shows our advantage, we are outshooting them like 34-15, also the tactical advantage is mine, nevertheless the opposition ties it up somehow. I dont understand how to control it

Do I have to start a new game for these changes to apply, because I haven't seen these numbers so far? Where can I find them exactly?

The higher the number, the better for your team?
