signing personnel
I appear to be having a couple of issues signing personnel.
1. The computer seems to like to make offers for human controlled teams. as a result I have a bunch of offers to people I don't want. 2. I have a bunch positions that were listed as pending that are now listed as vacant, yet when I got to offer the position to somebody I get a message saying the position has already been offered. 3. The only way I seem to be able t update offers for personnel is by going to available personnel and resubmitting an offer. Is this the way things are supposed to work with personnel? Is there no "update offer" similar to the process there is with players? |

Search the forum. There's already been a lot of discussion on problems with personnel hiring.

Have you downloaded the latest patch? These issues have been addressed. Is this an online league you're playing?

Provided you're designated to control these areas- and it appears you are, from info in another thread -the most likely cause is that you are in the position via the Act As function, rather than having actually applied for the job. My suggestion would be to change Act As to None, then in commissioner mode go to Available Jobs and select your team again. You'll then be in full control of all functions. You may need to adjust your responsibilities again, but it should eliminate any AI decision making that isn't specifically set for it to handle.
