Export to FTP issues
Hey guys, I'm having trouble exporting to my online league's FTP site...we just converted the league to OOTP 15 and the commish is getting ready to start the season ASAP, and I'm in trouble here.....the commish says he thinks that I have a firewall blocking the export, but I can't figure out how to get this to work
Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Scott Last edited by CardzFan; 05-16-2014 at 06:04 PM. |

A very high percentage of export problems turn out to be problems with the accountsdata_gm file in the settings folder.
I'd suggest getting a new copy from the commish, deleting the old one, and replacing it with the new one (with the league closed). Be sure it is unzipped, and be sure you see it sitting there in the settings subfolder. I guess there is also a chance your computer is having a problem communicating with the server, but I can't imagine why that would happen just as the league moved to 15. As an emergency backup, you can always choose the other export choice (not ftp) which will put your export into the import_export folder. You can then email that file to the commish.
