An Anniversary (of sorts)
I have no idea how long it's been since I began a thread around here, but I thought I'd just share this.
While I can't possibly figure out an exact date, it was right about this time of year 20 years ago that I stumbled upon a game called Baseball Mogul. I then got its first sequel. I loved the game. It took up many of my hours back in my early 20s. Because of my love for that game OOTP 2 hit my radar. The sheer depth of it ruined my love for Baseball Mogul forever. I have happily and eagerly purchased ever version of the game since that version. Just going over to the thread that was started about the first few versions (perhaps I even started that thread...) and seeing those old screenshots gives me such a wave of nostalgia. While I no longer have the time I once had to totally bury myself in the game, and play manage every game of the 1995-99 seasons of my beloved Indians, I do still find some time for historical replays. I will always support Markus by purchasing this game each year regardless of how much or how little time I find to play it, given how much joy this franchise has provided me and so many others in this community. Thank you, Markus, for all that you've done with this game from the very beginning to the most recent patch, and I close with the oft used phrase each year: keep up the good work!

Oh man, I would love to see that thread about the earliest version. Do you have a link?
I've played since very early on but I can't remember the first version I had. |

It's got a few pics in it and it's mostly just us waxing poetic and making jokes about the old days of the game. But you can find it stickied near the top on the OOTP Developments General Discussion board.

Ditto to that Bob.
BTW, I enjoyed playing with you in the OTBA for some years when I ran the Minneapolis Beermen.

Right back at ya. I just ran out of time and couldn't consistently export! But I enjoyed my 10+ years/75+ seasons with the South Carolina Strom Thurmonds/Akron Dandies.
