How are your Orioles saves doing?
I'm currently in 2020 and am 38-27 at June 13th. Has anyone been as lucky as I have?
For me, I signed Dallas Keuchel and Marcus Stroman for 1.5 Million/1 Year deals and both of them have an ERA in the 3.50 range. Luis Ortiz is 6-1 with a 3.38 ERA. |

I will check back in about two weeks! I plan to go basically with the roster as constructed by this new management for the first year and there still seems to be a lot of questions on the roster as of today; so I plan to start my universe following the first patch after opening day. Also, just around the league, there seem to have been a number of extensions announced. Seems there is still a lot going-on.

I heavily simmed the first three seasons assuming it would be hard to be competitive while being dragged down by Chris Davis and Alex Cobb's deals. I wanted to see what Davis would do before I moved on and he was, predictably, awful, batting like .130 or something. I released him after 2019, he obviously cleared waivers, then I wanted to see for fun how he'd do in the minors so I signed him to a minor league deal. Between low a and aa he never batted above .234 and his OPs never exceeded .780 and he retired at age 35.
I lost 105 games in 2019 and 103 in 2020. In 2021 I went 77-85. Now in 2022 I'm playing out every game and should be more competitive after trading for garrit Cole. I have a solid team and could put up runs the last couple but I had a really hard time stabilizing my rotation and bullpen without paying 40 mil a year for Sale which I couldn't do. |

Curious: How did your first season pan out?? I know the owner has a "win now" mentality...

In year 2023 now, after that start year 2 we made the playoffs at 88-74! However, we lost in the Wild Card to the Blue Jays. After a few seasons of hovering around .500 and having the atrocious contracts of Davis and Cobb off the books, I signed two big established international free agents and now I'm projected for the playoffs again!
