Minor League DL managment

I haven't purchased a new version of OOTP in a few years. In past versions I put minor league players on the DL. In this version the game keeps doing it for me. This is a problem because players from my 40 man roster have become injured in minor league games with 4-5 month injuries, and the game keeps putting them on the 15 day DL instead of the 60 day. Is there a setting somewhere so that I can take over minor league DL management, and is there a way to switch players from the 15 day DL to the 60 day DL?

Edit: The problem seems to be that minor league players who are on the 40 man roster don't have an option to transfer them to the 60 day DL. Major league players do. Consequently, a rash of severe injuries to 40 man roster players at AA and AAA is causing me to run out of options to replace my MLB players when they become injured since I can't put the AA and AAA players on the 60 day DL. In the last version that I played (13), the game didn't put those players on the DL for me, so I would have put them on the 60 day from day one.
