Training in Path to Glory (GM only)

I had a couple of quick questions.

1) I can't change training from "Assistant" in the manager options menu, but it seems like changes stick anyway. Will my assistant actually override my choices at some stage?

2) Who controls which players get dressed/don't get dressed? I've had to manually re-dress a specific player (Zadorov for the Avalanche) a couple of games because he keeps getting scratched?

3) For some reason, the coach kept putting a mediocre right wing on my first line for reasons that totally escape me (Colborne instead of Iginla or even MacKinnon). Is there a way to override this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've never played FHM but have lots of OOTP experience.

I'll try to help with whatever knowledge I've accrued through playing PTG for about a week.

I can't help with the training as I have not really payed attention to it through the PTG Mode.

As the GM, you still control his id dressed/not dresses. It seems though, that the coach has the final say however. Sometimes if you scratch/dress a player then go right into the game, that change stays even if the coach would have otherwise overridden it.

I have had the issue of the coach putting lesser players higher in the depth chart. The only solution I've found only works with a player who is waiver exempt or who wouldn't be picked up by another team. If the player is not nearly as good as the other (for example Colborne being dressed over MacKinnon, I would send Colborne down, sim a day or two, and then call him back up. If that doesn't work, sim a game with him in the minors and that should change the coach arranges the rosters.

I hope this helps
