A couple quick questions
Hey all,
I've been playing OOTP for a few versions now and I am a huge fan of the game. It's right up there with FM as the best simulator money can buy. Just have a couple quick questions though. One, is there a way to play in manager mode (not GM mode). One of my saves I work as GM only, but I kind of want to do a manager only one. Second, I see a lot of people post in game pictures were you can see nearly the full uniform of the facegen player.mi have uniforms installed but in my game you can't even see the logo on the chest, only the shoulders up, is there a way to change this? Sorry for the long post and thanks for any respones! |

When you start the game on the startup screen go to Settings, 3D & Facegen, Facegen Zoom and Profile picture zoom, set these to Out (more jersey)... I prefer the Facegen angle set to Random(more realistic)... If the game is already running, File, Settings, 3D & Facegen, Facegen Zoom and Profile picture zoom, set these to Out (more jersey)... |

Backasswards here... Answer to #1
IMO, Use commissioner mode to get on the team you want to manage, then click out of commissioner mode, and then set your Team Control settings for the things you want to control and let the computer manage things you don't want to control yourself... |

Might make more sense to have your manager or bench coach make those decisions, I understand you are wanting to play as manager, but since some of those decisions may be rating related (im honestly not sure which) having your owner (who most likely does not have any ratings) make those decisions might not be the way to go. With that said, let me be sure and tell you im a new player and am definately not sure about that, just a gut feeling.

There are only two choices for control in Manager Settings... It's either you or the computer... The computer is the teams Manager whom you hired or was assigned to the team and for the minors it would be the Minor League Managers...

Good catch, eg. Yes, the owner's name is Cole. Reed is the manager. Either way, the settings which I show above will allow OP to only manage games on the field; other decisions that a GM would make are all being done by the AI under one label or the other.
