Sim schedules and how much real time....

There has been some discussion in our online league regarding the length of time it takes to get through the off-season and how we do the amateur draft and whether it causes any delay in our sim schedule.

So I figured I'd pose a few questions here and would really appreciate hearing about other online leagues.

1) How many sims and how long (in real time) does it take your on-line league to go from opening day to the end of the playoffs?

2) How many sims and how long (in real time) does it take your on-line league to get through the offseason?

3) How does your online league do the amateur draft (ie; 3rd party utility, forums, in game) and does it cause a pause/delay in your regular season sim schedule?

I'll post a link and scrren shot of our schedule.
We moved the draft to the end of ST and use the ingame draft utility with forum drafting for the first 3 or 4 rounds. I really like it. We forum draft for about a week starting near the end of FA and running through ST.
Specific to our league is an out of game salary cap. This also alows teams to carry cap overage through ST getting to the cap before opening day.

1) 26 sims, 3 months
2) 12 sims, 1 month
3) EMAIL for R1, R2 & R3. In game for the rest of the Rounds 4 to 12. We do our Rookie draft after the playoffs are over. We are going to change this to July/Mid Season next year. We plan on releasing the available players 75 days in advance so we will email draft again R1/R2/R3 prior to reaching the draft date in game. Then we will have one sim to finish R4 to R12.

PEBA is a bit of a slower league (2 game weeks per RL week). So it probably takes about 4 RL months for the season and 2 RL months for the offseason. We do a live draft event through StatsLab once per season. It's killer all day for the commish, but means almost no delay for the draft.
