Why when i am the head coach of my team the lines are changed before every game after i set them

Where do you edit them? If you edit them on the team strategy screen, they will be copied to the pre-game strategy screen before each game (but don´t change). If you do changes there, they are for the game only.

in team strategies then they are changed back to what the ai suggested before every game

In theory that is not possible. The AI will only change the lines when you are GM Only. Did you hire a HC? And are you really changing the lines on the team strategy screen and not accidentally on the pre-game screen?

Otherwise I need the save to look.

here's what happened i started as gm/HC of the edmonton oilers about halfway through the first season i hired mike kehnan to be my HC until now i could set my lines fine then i went through the season and at seasons end mike kehnan retired and i became the GM/HC again then i could edit my lines in team stratagies again cause i was the HC then before the first preseason game my lines were changed to what they were the season before under mike kehnan and i could change them before the game so i did then i went to the team stratagies page and the same thing happened i changed my lines to what i wanted then before the next game they were changed back so i just hired another coach on a 1 year deal since it didn't matter so if the same problem happens next year i will send you the file if you still need it
