I am getting this message when trying to go to my opening day of my 2nd season.

"The Toronto Blue Jays still have non-roster invitees on their active roster. Today is Opening Day, every player on the active roster who is not on the secondary roster (40-man) roster has to be demoted now."

I have dragged and dropped all 25 players in my active roster multiple times, they are all on my 40 man roster, what the hell am I missing, about to lose my mind here... lol.

Somebody on your 25 man roster does not have a major league contract. Just because they are on the 40 man roster that does not mean they have a major league contract. Find out who it is, demote them, advance to opening day, then promote them to the major league squad.

Is there a quick way to do that without clicking into every player and then looking at contract & Status?

It looks like I have screwed myself out of a potential 5 star potential player. He is on a minor league contract, and I am 1 day before Opening day and I have to demote him, but I am unable to demote him because he would have to clear waivers, but I can't resign him immediately because he will take a few days to review my offer. How can I guarantee that I keep him?

I should also add, I have now removed all the players that were not on a major league contract off my 25 man active roster (checked the remaining 22 3 times, to make sure they all had major league contracts) and I am still getting the same error. I tried letting the AI do my roster movement, but it made some stupid decisions I really didn't decide with.. so I CTRL + Alt +DEL closed my game so I could go back.

Is he out of options? Seems strange that a good prospect would be on the 40 man roster for 3 years (only way he could be out of options), be on the active roster and not have MLB minimum contract.

Sounds like a bug.

Well he is going into his 4th year as a pro, but he is on waivers and I'm still getting that error that I can't advance and when I do the AI lineup by Manager, it puts like 8 guys on waivers I don't want on waivers. I need to be pushed in another direction here with my error. All players on my active roster are major league contracts.

Go into commissioner mode and give him a major league contract.

Well I moved him off waivers and he is still thinking about the previous contract I offered him, but again, with him on waivers, I am still unable to move on to the Opening Day, and all my other 22 players are on Major League Contracts in the active roster, so he is not the problem I am concerned with right now. I want to move on to opening day!

Did you use the option to put him on waivers AND designate him for assignment or just put him on waivers? If you did the former it should have worked, assuming he is the one causing the issue after all.
