Goalie Start Problem

I have my #1 goalie set. I have all the Goalie Starts settings set to start him. Yet my back up has over 30 games played and my #1 guy has 12. I have the Lock Settings and Use Goalie Start Settings both checked. I have even swapped them back and forth in the Goalie 1 and 2 positions but they are still playing the 3 star goalie instead of the 4 star. I have Start the Best Goalie to 4. Any help?

You can ensure that your #1 goalie starts by checking Lock Settings and unchecking Use Goalie Start Settings. It then ignores all the sliders and starts the goalie in the number 1 spot. I wouldn't recommend running that way for the whole season without manually swapping the goalies for some games as it tends to cause fatigue and injuries to your starter, but it's a way to handle it yourself rather than rely on the sliders.
