I'd paste in a screenshot but not quite sure how to do that. But's it's got the large left handed hitter character. Not the graphic of the best players at each position like '18.

And you didn't load the historical 2017 season somehow right?

(Sorry for the stupid IT like questions but a lot of times the simplest explanations turn out to be the right ones

)

It definitely does. OSA is a scouting service in-game. Scouting affects everything to do with ratings and rankings if it's turned on.

That's why we mentioned turning it off it twice, in each of the first two posts

Game > Game Settings > Global Settings. It's on the very top left. Untick 'Use Complete Scouting System'.

To get the lists to regenerate you'll then need to set them to generate dynamically, which is on the mid right of that same screen.

So I uncheck the "Use Complete Scouting System" box? And re-check to turn on?

Thanks for your help! Fortunately, I do know about the dynamic top prospects list, unless you were referring to something else.

Shot you a PM with Second Nationality Updates and players the game lists as retired but active. It was very lengthy and created a sheet for you! Figured going through all of them at once and creating the sheet again was much more simple and easy than posting it one at a time or over multiple posts.

On another note, it appears there are quite a few players, probably about 120, in the game who's listed height is 0'0" and listed weight is 0 lbs. They appear to all be players who are in teams international complexes.

I've double-checked multiple sources on these, but feel free to let me know if you have any questions on the information below. As a side note, I've noticed a few instances where the in game salary doesn't include a signing bonus that is being distributed over the life of the contract. If the OOTP preference is to avoid including that for some reason (consistency?), then you can ignore the players marked with an * as that is the only issue with those players.

Cole Hamels - 2018 salary is $20M; should be $23.5M (2019 is correct)

Elvis Andrus - Each year of his 2018-2022 salary should have an additional $250k signing bonus. The final year (2023) is actually a vesting option requiring 550 PA in 2022 or 1100 PA in 2021-22. The salary is correct for that year.

Prince Fielder - He has technically been released from his contract, however I realize he likely has been left on contract in the game to capture the $9M the Rangers owe him through 2020.

*Mike Minor - has a $1M signing bonus distributed evenly over the 3 year deal at $333k per year.

Martin Perez - has a team option for 2019 (I think I saw that you can't add a 2nd option year, so if not that's cool). His 2020 option includes a $250k buyout, but he doesn't have a buyout in the game. Lastly, Perez is being projected to be ready for the start of the season, although he is on the DL for 4 weeks to start the game.

Rougned Odor - has a $2M signing bonus distributed from 2017-22 at $333k per year. He also has a $3M buyout on the 2023 season.
