Really a preference call. I enjoy the sideline cams.

I like Wide/HP/Wide for the transition.

Can you zoom or back out the wide, CF, CF close cameras and have them set as the defaults? I find the CF too far away and the CF close too close.

You can edit or add any cameras by going to the park page and adjusting things there. Handy to find a camera you like in a park, save it, use the "copy to all parks" function, and then it should be available for all your games (although do note that you may need to quickly run through each park making sure the new angle doesn't accidentally end up behind a fence or blocked by a statue).
And to add, if you discover new angles that you like way more, please share and let us know, and we can certainly look to add them to the default models |

I prefer wide/cf close/wide With pan and follow ball OFF.
I like to watch from behind the pitcher. Last edited by MizzouRah; 03-18-2020 at 12:13 PM. |

I find the default switching of camera angles mid-play annoying. Like TV, you do not have a single perspective of your choice. The beta default from behind the pitcher provides a narrow view that does not include the runners. And switching takes time for the eye to adjust, meaning that you have often missed the ball flight. All of these can be adjusted, I think, but it is annoying to someone who has watched many games live from different vantages and knows what to look for. What I found most distracting was that once the cut was made to the full stadium (or selected view) the camera tracked the ball, creating even further distraction and difficulty in following.Surely there are adjustments that can freeze and stabilize this constant movement and allow those of us who want to follow the larger scope of play to escape the "tyranny" of the multiple camera angles and switches.

I've got to say that once I found the controls for the cameras, fixing the perspective was extremely easy. Good job, OOTP 21 staff!
