Sorry if it has been mentioned before. Forum search didn't turn anything up.
So I won the WHL with the Vancouver Giants, 4-2 in the finals and this guy from the opposing team is MVP. In 6 games he is a combined -5, has got 4 points and his average game rating is in the mid 50s.
On my title winning team there are several players with way more deserving numbers, e.g. my first line center who scored ten points is a combined +6 and has not a single game with a game rating under 60.
Not that I really mind, but I'm curious to know how this is possible.
Edit:
Equally interesting, my goalie, who played horribly throughout the season .879 goals against average and who singlehandedly almost lost me the finals in the playoffs was voted the most outstanding player of the season.
