What is missing from IOOTP from OOTP14?
Can you do league associations? Custom playoffs with byes? Edit Schedules? No sure what iOOTP does not have as compared to the regular version?

A lot, I think. I don't have OOTP, (I wish I did) but the main thing missing is the whole minor league system. Iootp is supposed to be a watered down, iOS version of OOTP.

There is no player editor, the only things you can edit are teams' name and colors. As Kingxx mentioned, there are no minor league stats, the minor leagues in iOOTP are like OOTP's secondary roster. They don't play any games, and the omly injuries they get are sicknesses. You can't have 7-day lineups. The only front office there is tells you if your owner is happy or sad (or furious, as has happened many times with me) with your performance, and how much money you have to sign extensions and free agency. There are no coaches or scouts. You can't play without managing a team, though you can let the AI do everything for you. They only league setting are whether injuries or trading are enabled, you can't set amateur draft date, or anything else. There is no all-star game, only a news article showing the rosters (which doesn't completely load half of the time), and a note in a players' history saying they were selected. I could say a 100 more things, but you get the jist. |
