How to you handle pending injuries?

Can I DFA a guy or will he get pissed (as usual) even if he's injured?

A starting OF who also is my only backup C is hurt with a pending status. I want to DFA him and bring up a C...

Deal it with the same way a GM does in real life -- wait for the diagnosis.

Yeah for sure...I just feel in real life you could have such a discussion with a player and he'd understand the strategy. Then again, the team wouldn't have a magical $480,000 added to their expenses for calling up a guy for 3 days haha.

Well you couldn't as it is probably against the rules and a grievable action by the PA.

Find another bench guy/ bullpen arm with options left, send him down bring up back up C and readjust your roster when you get the diagnosis, eithr that or just turn off the option so you always know right away

I'm guessing you're already aware of this feature, but just in case...

Go to League Setup>Global Setup>Delayed Injury Diagnosis

The game gives you the option to enable instant diagnosis or delays (which is more realistic).

I feel your pain tho! I've had two guys injured this season (both five star players), and I've been forced to leave them on the active roster for three or four days each until the test results came in..it wasn't fun!

In real life, a GM would call up another catcher. Might not move the injured guy to do it, but a real life GM would never leave his team with one available catcher.
