The Rebels sweep their way into the Bronze League Series, three close ones and a 12-2 rout to end it.

The Raccoons have the rest of the night off, however, having been smushed in five games in the LCS. Split two at home, then lost all three on the road, but the depressing thing is Game 4, where Corbin completely ****ed away a 6-1 lead, and the pen just merrily kept on collapsing.

Ouch, that's rough. That'll kill your Playoffs

I now have to quickly unearth a fifth starter for Perfect. I am reluctant to offer my dearly beloved Swannie on the altar of the blood gods in Perfect. He is barely competent in Diamond.

I have 16k, but I would be rather glad to get something for about half that.

Take a look at the 91 John Tudor. Also, the 86 Mel Harder is a good 5th starter if your infield defense is really good (he won't get many Ks but he won't give up many HRs either).

P.S You could expect a FIP in the range of 4.25 from these guys. In order to get better, you would need to spend 15-20k. I would stay away from the 6-10k 2019 Live pitchers.

Well... That didn't go so well. My Mammoth Mudhens had a 3-1 lead in the conference championship, only to lose 3 straight games where they managed to score a grand total of 1 run.

But worse yet, was my Raccoons fate. They lost 4-0 in the conference championship, being outscored 34-14! All 7 prior games with the Direwolves were close, but our pitching which has always been consistently superb, got clobbered. Even Tim Keefe got clobbered.

The Mudhens won 101 games and the Raccoons won 114 games and both made it to the conference championship, so it was definitely a good year for them. But, a trophy or two would have been nice. Maybe next year...

Yeah, all the guys I went after this week have been historical players. I felt much safer that way.

I also looked at Smokey Joe Wood and the Rookie Jose Fernandez cards, but I should probably stick to the movement guys...

So I've somehow made it to the G335 World Series.

I'm up against the Susquehanna Soniqs, who went 138-24 (B'sin'Glou were 90-72).

Here is a roster comparison - Soniqs on the left, Double Agents on the right.

Let's do this!

(EDIT: The CS was wild, btw. We won Game 2 by the score of 21-1, lost game 3 by 15-2, fell behind 3-1 in the series but fought back to force a Game 7, which we won 15-12)

Main team blew a 3-0 series lead and lost in 7. Absolutely ****ing sick to my stomach right now. If this was gonna be the result, I'd rather have not made the playoffs at all. Waste of my Sunday!

If infield is super good, then 89 Dizzy Dean, 89 Paul Splittorff or 85 Brett Anderson are all mid/high movement and/or control guys that should cost under 6k to get. Expect BABIP to be high with their stuff is in the 50's, but they can fill a 5th starter role for you for a season or two.

Or if you want a little more stuff, 82 Lance McCullers Jr 2017 card is also under 6k typically, he is 81/67/49.

That was quite a task. He was loaded. My best pitcher (Perfect Seaver) couldn’t break his rotation,

Rebels have lost the Bronze League Series in five and were never really in it.

The Raccoons won the auction for the Mel Harder card for just over 3k. Tempted to see how that one ends - we do claim to have good infield defense at least.
