How to murder your team owner
My team owner was a cantankerous fool, both controlling and meddlesome according to his profile page. I finally had enough, so I went into commissioner mode, edited his age to be 100, and then waited a few weeks.
He hung on longer than I expected, signing a couple more needless contract extensions on my behalf in the meantime, but finally croaked. His son, same name except with a Jr extension, is Lenient, Generous, and Hands-Off. In commissioner mode I thought I could simply edit the old buzzard's characteristics, but I must have overlooked the right button to click. As it worked out, though, I couldn't be happier with the result of my heinous crime. Does anyone else have a creative way of dealing with their team owner? i once wrote a news story of how he and his cronies were in a restaurant robbery that went bad, and were murdered by the thugs.
Since he had no heirs to take over, MLB stepped in an appointed a new "owner" until a buyer could be found. to do that, i simply edited the old guys profile to fit the new person. i never play with owners goals enabled anymore, as i find them annoying and unrealistic too often. i've actually changed my owners in a few different leagues along the way, due to either a murder, fatal boating accident, or something along those lines. it seems, the world of my leagues is a pretty morbid place at times, at least for crummy owners.

can they bust you for murdering your owner as you admit it LMAO would be a silly story line as I could see that and would love to see how the game handle the investigation and your response and end up having you arrested in the end HEHE

Let 'em try. I'll just go into Commissioner Mode and edit Robert Mueller's characteristics so that he's super lenient or whatever, and I'll skate. |
