.230 with 25 homers a year is where I see him long term in real life, too...

Bryce Harper should be performing a lot better than this.

So far in Gold .295, there is only 1 team with a better than .600 WPct (.657). Quite the contrast now that the super-teams have moved on!

My Clippers team is .537 right now and 1/2 GB. My team has NEVER been in 1st place and this is the closest it's ever been (except for the 1st few days of a season).

OK, this may not happen again for a long time, so I had to post a screenshot of my team finally being in 1st place. We just beat the team with the best record in the 1st of a 4 game set so I'm doubtful it will last.

This is sure a lot nicer than losing 100+ games (like last season in diamond). At least we might have a chance to make the playoffs this year.

I got rid of Judge after he was performing way worse than that. It just gets worse.

My theory is that high K, low contact guys cannot hit elite pitching. And since the pitching gets better as you move up.... You get the idea I'm sure.

It seems like players with low contact and/or low "Avoid Ks" ratings seem to really struggle against pitchers with High Movement ratings.

These 3 pitchers were a combined 34-14 for me last season in Diamond with a combined ERA right around 3.00. Luque finished 3rd in Cy Young and 1st the previous season in Gold. I thought I was just having a slow start in Perfect, but this is getting frustrating. And I'm doing just good enough that I'll probably watch them get stomped in Perfect again next season. After 4 straight conference titles, I suck really, really bad.

Bright side is my division sucks bad, too, so only 6 games back. If I can figure out how to get these guys back on track, I could win the division.

Not doing too bad now. I predict, I will be in the toilet net month as in June, so far 14-6.

This season does feel a lot better than last! Good luck keeping it up, and capturing the division!

June was better for the Hoggs. 15-12. Still last in our division at 34-48 (lost the first game of July) but now only the third-worst record in the league. Ron Santo won hitter of the month.

Decided to upgrade my defense at 2B, too. Sent Kike Hernandez (who'd been my backup utility guy; gave that role to Jean Segura) to the reserve roster and bought Jose Oquendo. Should have a pretty strong middle defense now, with Oquendo at 2B, Aparicio at SS, and Lofton at CF (he's got some errors in him but other than that he's good).

So far my Texarkana team is off to its best start in 3 seasons of gold, going 51-31 in G309.

My Cedar Rapids Reds in S260 are once again trying to avoid relegation.

I'm little surprise that my Expos are 16-12 in June and 41-42 for the season in Diamond league.

Playing in G278. I've not spent money on any packs so far. I've been saving points to improve my team from the auction house and am now ca. 50/50 on gold/silver players. However, I'm hitting the point where good replacements are getting rather expensive on the AH, and I have to rely on buying packs, so progress will be much slower.

I admit I have not much time to devote to this game mode, so I mostly let the AI run lineups and strategies.

I am glad your first team is rolling again. Build them well my friend; I am still looking forward to you moving up.

I am 50-31 in P-337, somehow still competing against some pretty impressive teams. I did finally keep a 3rd 100 card, a deGrom so no big change. He allowed me to re-arrange my pitching staff moving the OVR 97 "Big Unit" to relief. My Trout though is in his 3rd straight season as a sub .250 hitter. If there was a higher league than Perfect he may flirt with the Mendoza Line. At least when he has a really good game he rolls in some PP.

I just drew a second Craig Swan (71), who is one of my best pitchers while I get clobbered in Diamond League. "Best" may at times be relative, but he is sure outpitching a handful of gold and diamond hurlers I have.

And here comes the sadness, that I will probably not get more than 200 PP for him on the market...

Well, I won a Cookie Cutter Showdown. Pretty funny boxscore, but unfortunately he didn't get his Diaz into the game.

Holy cows, Saw a Nap Lajoie card in the auction house. Had to have it. That dude has some crazy contact and gap. Got him for 75k buy it now but it’s gotta be worth more although it’s hard to want to sell a card like that.

Man, I feel like if I could get my pitchers to perform up to snuff that I could be more competitive. The thing is that I don't feel like the starters and at least the top of my bullpen is that bad but they consistently rank near the bottom of the conference.

My offense more than holds their own. Although someone needs to explain how Hack Wilson is a .208 hitter? How hack Wilson, with 85 power and 69 contact can only have 10 home runs while Tom Herr with 32 power and 66 contact has 7?
