MLB THE SHOW 14 (PS4) Ballparks
Hello everybody... just curious on if there would be any kind of demand on this... more so then just a few individuals. But I have a PS4 with MLB The Show 14 and was curious about taking some screen shots of each teams ballparks (day and night) to use for OOTP15.
I've never done any kind of ballpark mods so I am not anywhere near perfect yet or finding that "best angle" but here is a quick sample of the New York Mets: Daytime (sorry its blurry not sure what I screwed up): Nightime (I think this shot looks gorgeous): However not sure if this is the ideal angle or not, any feedback or interest would be great. These are also not sized or anything, this is just the default screen shot size from the PS4 Let me know! ***Edit: It looks like photo bucket made the image a lot smaller then what the file is on my laptop, hmmm... Also the clarity and crispness of the screenshot has been degraded after uploading to photobucket Last edited by Hockey13Playa; 07-12-2014 at 02:45 PM. Reason: added edit line |

IMO Park photos are always welcomed... The more the better... Be sure and include the MILB, Spring training and for sure the Classic parks if you can... Here are a couple of shots that may help you decide on the angles... Same park different angles... I prefer the second one, but the first photo may not crowd the players on the field as much... |

My issue is the parameters of the "instant replay" it only lets me zoom out so far and I cannot put the focal point of the camera that far behind home plate, its restricting on the "perfect" image I'd like to achieve

Yeah I am still playing with this and it looks extremely hard to achieve the views you provided (which I like) but I think the restraints in the show are going to prevent me from achieving those ideal views I am going to play around with this some more see if I can figure anything out.

Yeah, I feel your pain... I tried this once or twice with MLB The Show on PS3 and MLB2K12 on PC and could never get a good shot or at least ones to my satisfaction... I gave up and went with some shots I found in another Sports Forum forum... Hope you have better skills or better luck than I and are able come up with some good ones...

Ok I am away from my house and my PS4 now but I managed to grab 4 more screen shots... I did Comerica Park just to try a different ballpark to see what would happen. I just tried a few different angles, at the farthest zoom within the limits the game let me zoom out to if that makes sense.
Picture quality wise they look so crisp and clear on my laptop when I open them, I am a bit bummed at the resolution and such after uploading them through photo bucket though. (maybe there is a work around to that though, however?) Anyways here are the 4 shots from Comerica... None are really "ideal" if you ask me, but its very hard to incorporate everything when the game restricts your zooming and moving around throughout the stadium. Ugh |

I think number 3 are 4 are pretty good to. I think personally a little bit of the stadium like that showing so you know where you're playing ball at, enriches the experience. I will continue to post all 30 MLB teams to start (day and night) but won't be able to until Monday. (Away from home but have my laptop with me).
So for the time being I will try to load up Comerica into my game and post a in-game screen shot on how it looks |
