Suspension List
I just started a 2014 game and my first news as the new Twins GM? Josh Willingham has been suspended 80 games for PEDs. Now what do I do with him? I cannot put him on the DL as he does not qualify and I do not see a suspension list. Surely he isn't expected to just sit on my roster for half a season, right?

Good question. I can't help from the OOTP angle but if they want teams to truely support the anti-PED movement wasting a spot on the 25 man roster would be a good start. Might keep the Melky Cabrera's of the world from ca$hing in.
Anyway . . . back to your question

Anybody? My poor Twins are struggling with only 24 active players

I feel like I've checked everywhere twice and checked the manual. I can't find anything...

Go into commish mode and give him an injury that will get him to the right date (or close enough to it), then put him on the DL. It's the closest you're going to get since OOTP does not have a suspension list at this time. You may have to remove the suspension too.

I feel like adding a suspended list would be a better alternative Thanks though!

I wonder if this could make it into a patch. |

Players suspended for PED violations don't actually go on the Suspended list in real life. They go on the Restricted list, which means the player no longer counts against the 40-man roster until reinstated. They also don't get paid, but they do accrue major league service time.
