For those of you who maintain a more modern universe, here are a few Current arenas I've chanced across. All are in Nova Scotia and the largest would hold about 7,000 boxing fans. This, for instance, is the Halifax Forum built in 1928 as a multi-purpose venue. It's the largest of this group.

This is the Antigonish Arena. It's been around for ages and holds about 2,000 fight fans. Antigonish is home to world reknowned St. Francis Xavier University.

Burns Arena, just outside Calgary. Built by boxing promoter Tommy Burns. Capacity 10,000. Burned down shortly after the tragic Pelkey-McCarty fight.

Sunnyside Gardens- New York
Sunnyside served as sort of a farm system for MSG. Canzoneri, Patterson, Cooney all fought there before moving on to bigger paydays at MSG. Good article on the place here:

Rajadamnern- known more for hosting Muay Thai, but Galaxy did fight there on multiple occasions
