I opened 82 packs (492 cards) and got a perfect deGrom. I could have spent my 82,000 points and gotten deGrom with 50K left over. However, I could not have gotten the 9 diamonds and 10 golds that I also pulled with that 50K.

Absolutely not true. I just won championship with some bronze and silver in my lineup. Not one Gold SP only silvers. Bronze George Burns 60 rating won batting title and hit 59 doubles, 9 triples, 7 HR, on 204 hits over the season. Led league in Avg, Hits, and doubles

Should there be? That's up to the developer, who says no. There are 5 times more MLB 2018 Live cards than historical cards.

So it determines what set it is pulling a card from prior to determining the card quality? Is there an explanation of the algorithm somewhere? I'm not sure the 5x Live cards really explains him pulling multiple Bryce Harpers as opposed to pulling other live cards of that quality.

I bought 179 packs (+/-) which equals to 895 non-guaranteed bronze cards and got 5/6 diamonds and no perfect. Given the prices in AH and chances that I will draw rather perfect LIVE card (which I could obtain for less than 30k PP in AH) than historical I regret spending so much on packs ...
