My recent experience shows that pitching fatigue might have gone too far the other way. I've got starters often going 135+ pitch complete games with modern settings. A 6 man bullpen (without any converted starters) is always fresh even after ten straight games.

Is anyone else having issues making sense of teams included in large tournaments, or is this just another instance of this game being locked in eternal combat with my laptop's resolution?

Either way, a zoom function on the tournament tree page would help a lot.

I also play on a laptop and above 32 teams I can't read the team names either. That comes with the territory I guess.

Some full tournaments are still being included when using the filter setting of "only accepting teams" - Not a big deal, but that has to be a bug, right?

It's seems a change in one tournament affects all tournaments of the same roster restriction. Facing a mostly lefty lineup, I moved LHP into the starting rotation. This was game 2 of the finals of a Best of 5. This same LHP was moved to the starting rotation of a Best of 3 that had just started, and was actually used in Game 1 even though slotted 4th. I hope that's an issue that can be fixed. I assume also that this same LHP will be slotted 4th in all future rosters of this type, will edit and let you know.

Edit: A tournament requiring historical cards only vs. unrestricted was unaffected. But the next unrestricted tournament I entered had the LHP slotted 4th. Mid-tournament corrections should not affect the saved roster, IMHO.

Once again I went to enter a Capped tourney and the AI imported my roster and my 100 Peak Ted Williams was not included and my other 2 100 cards were. This is the second time that several high ranked cards were not included and showing up as inactive. Again...thoroughly confused.

This seems like a problem to me... early evening on a weeknight, and of the quick Capped Tournaments, none are particularly close to starting, and it's not even worth joining the Daily tournaments, as they won't fill up by the time they're scheduled to start...

Starting around 8pm, none of the tournaments I signed up for are showing up on the start screen. Logged out and logged back in and they were there, but I guess that's not particularly helpful....
OK, logged into the main game, then went back to the start screen and they were missing again.
One finally started and it shows up there, so it must be a sorting issue.

I'm using the same roster in every tournament I enter. I make no changes. Pitchers are sorted "start highest rested". But in the first series of a best of 5 tournament the AI consistently uses my #3 in the second game.

Edit: It is also using consistently a short-rested #1 when a fully rested #5 is available. The #5 is even highlighted as starter to be used, but when I check afterwards, the #1 was used.

Edit: Now when I check my other Best of 5 that I am in simultaneously, I see that pitchers 1, 4 and 5 were used in the first series. It's almost as if fatigue from 1 tournament is counted in the other as well.

Edit: I uploaded a 7day lineup featuring a different starter (one from the bullpen), but the game now used the #5 starter......

Minor tournament related bug: The "Tournament Wins" statistic in the Managers and Rankings searchable database appears to have errors.

I only know this because the Midwestern State Mustangs (user: Dogberry99) are shown to have 1 tournament win. That team has not won a single tournament.

That's where the action is.

I don't understand why my starting pitchers are being used out of order, or being used on short-rest when fully rested starters are available (and I have used highest rested starter enabled). Must be something to do with stamina setting, please scale it back. There's a reason modern teams have 7 or 8 bullpen arms. If 5 or 6 man bullpens are getting gassed, so be it.

Is there any way to know if a player you're about to sell is on a tournament roster?

What if i'm logged into PT (not tournaments) and I try to sell a dupe and both are on my inactive roster? If it's an iron or bronze dupe, it could be in a tournament and both are inactive on my 'main' roster.

I really don't like the way a change in 1 tournament affects all my tournaments of the same roster restriction. I changed closer in 1, changed in all.

Agreed. This strips us of the ability to test different strategies concurrently.

Additionally, the best lineup for the Daily Bronze tournament with the default year of 2011 may not be the same as the best lineup for the Sunday Bronze with the year set to 2000. If there were dead ball bronze tournaments being offered now, that would potentially require a 3rd lineup. Having the same roster restrictions but different settings creates a much larger competitive issue.

If it's a dup, there's no problem because you still have one. But if it's your only one, you can't know. It might be a good idea to list Tournament Roster if it's on that, but not on the Active Roster, so people know the card is being used.

Edit: Never mind. Cards used in tournaments say active roster, so yes, you can see it's being used if you sell cards directly from the inactive roster page.
