World Baseball Hierarchy: The Best DAMN Online League, Period!
Want something a bit different in a fictional league? The World Baseball Hierarchy (WBH) is a long-running promotion/relegation league with a unique structure based on the 2006 World Baseball Classic. It's a promotion/relegation structure in a hierarchy; play in one of 7 country leagues, trying to fight your way to the top (winning the USA Championship). We've got nearly 30 seasons under our belt, and we expect to go for many years to come.
Full League Name (Initials): World Baseball Hierarchy (WBH) Main URL: worldbaseballhierarchy.com Reports URL: worldbaseballhierarchy.com/lgreports/news/html/ Boards URL: worldbaseballhierarchy.com/forum Leaderboards URL: worldbaseballhierarchy.com/wbh_tools/leaders Commissioner(s) OOTP Forum Username(s): suzerain Email Address: commish@worldbaseballhierarchy.com OOTP Version: OOTP 14 Game Needed: Required Players: Fictional # of Teams: 56 Export Deadlines Days And Times: Sun, Tue, Thu 10 PM EST League Time Per Sim: 7 days First Season: 2006 Latest Season: Preseason 2036 Special Rules & Settings: Scouting/Coaching Turned off, promotion/relegation structure, some finance tweaks Currently Available Teams: See below To join, please go here: Join URL: worldbaseballhierarchy.com/wbh/join We do not respond to requests to join posted here on the forum. You need to use the form on our website. We're looking for owners who can stick around for a while; we pride ourselves on our rich history. AVAILABLE TEAMS: Colon Cougars (VEN) - Just got relegated from Japan to Venezuela, but make no mistake, this is a pretty good team. Several good hitters, pitchers, and a decent farm system as well. Quebec Dragons (KOR) - A few good players here, and one GREAT one. Finished second in 2035, but still probably need a few parts to make them a contender. San Lorenzo Legends (KOR) - A team with VERY RICH history. Finished second in 2035, and has a couple of great starters on the staff. Toa Baja Coquis (KOR) - Another team with a solid history. A good hitting and pitching team, and also have several good prospects on the horizon. Lots of payroll room to improve! Mao Dadaistas (VEN) - Been stuck in VEN for a while, but has had good recent success with a unit built on pitching and defense. Lagunillas Loros (CAN) - LAG has one of the best pitchers in the entire Hierarchy in Harrow, who carried the crazy birds to the CAN championship game in 2035. They also have a great farm system as well.

Great league.
Always active! Lots of trade blocks (56 teams!). Challenging promotion/relegation system. Great discussions of the forums. And my team just started 5-1, woohoo! |

This is a very fun, unique, and challenging league. The Commissioner and the Board of Directors are hard working and do a great job running this huge league. With so many owners there is always activity in the forums and people ready to talk trades. Give it a try!

I joined this league a few seasons ago and love it to death. There are a lot of people who have been in the league for 20+ seasons, but also many who are still "newbies", and the league rules keep it very fair and balanced, so a lot of the new guys are winning right off the bat. Some of the open teams are pretty good, but some of them might need some work. Either way is a lot of fun, so, if you are looking for a good online league, please check out the WBH. You'll like it.

League which does a very good job of maintaining balance. Played 10+ seasons and plan on playing 10 more.. Regulation format keeps it competitive..

Hey guys, just won my first league championship (Canada) in 20 + years (game years) and it feels great! Now the work begins to keep winning and stay out of Canada! Gents, this is a league you will truly enjoy! It is a very unique league set-up with knowledgeable GMs who make it, the best damn on-line league, period!
