Birth Year Limitations
Why is there a limit in the drop-down for birth year when editing a player?
I'm entering a bunch of fictional players for my 2020 universe, and I'd like them to be born prior to 1960, but the drop down only goes back that far. I'm doing this to import their stats so that they appear in the league's history which dates to 1988. Many of the players active in 1988 were born in the 1950s.

Been that way for awhile. With the older players, 19th century-early 1900s, if you see a player with an age that's wrong or you try changing it, you notice the cutoff year which will then throw off the age column on their player page.

The scroll option has disappeared. I can see from 1943 - 1988 on mine. (lge screen res)This used to scroll so you could select any year.

Blue, its been like this for awhile.
It seems to be if its a player whos age makes sense to the year your league is in, its never a problem. The problem is for say a current league and your doing something with a player from 19th- early 20th century. "Honest" John Anderson for instance. Played from 1894-1908. In my current league but a few versions of the game back, i clicked his "birth year". It will only go as far back as 1961 now. So i dont pick any birth year and it stays blank. But now his age column is 0 on his player page. |

Gotcha, tks. Seems to be broken then, and should be reported. There needs to be an option to select any year. |
