How do you import, imported players, in the draft?

How do you import, imported players, in the draft? I think asked this question before but did not receive a response. My goal would to bring younger historical players in a league draft. Currently, when you import a player they go into free agency, unless you edit the player to a team.

Edit the player's league rights to "None" instead of "Free". If they're young enough to be eligible for the draft, that'll put them in it.

Could there be a box to checkmark for adding Import Players to the draft?

I imported Guy Lafleur to the 19-20 game as a 19 year old as he was in the 70 draft in Jan. Under league rights, none is checked. However, under Current team and Contracted team he is listed as a free agent. There is no option for none, only options for various leagues and teams. He does not show up as a free agent or in the draft currently. My ? is will he show up at draft time even though he is not listed in the draft under the NHL entry draft page?

No, Lafleur, did not go into the entry draft. He signed with an AHL team before the draft. Still none on league rights. Something is wrong here. Please advise Jeff since the above did not work. He is not a free agent either.

The AHL-signing thing was a bug, it should be fixed in the new update, try it now.

There is a problem! I had two different game crashes after simming for a bit after importing Mike Bossy to the game for a test run. These files were working fine before this move. I clicked all the leagues to none from free agents. He did not show up in the draft the two days after inputted the player. FYI: The files are not a new ones that were developed under the current patch.
