Request for Len Barker - Milwaukee

In searching the site, I was hoping to find a color image of Len Barker suited up with the 1987 Brewers. Although there are some nice b&w's, I was hoping to see if one had reared its head with anyone. Thanks in advance!

Here you go. This is the best I have, from a 1987 team photo. The guy in front of Len is Juan Nieves.

Tom O'Hara 1906

This is the best image of O'Hara I have ever seen. Not coincidentally, it's done by my favorite baseball photographer Carl Horner. You can purchase the real deal over at RMY Auctions.

Pete J. O'Brien 1901

Also from the amazing auctions going on over at RMY, here's O'Brien wearing the 1906 Browns jersey and photographed by Carl Horner.

Red Owens 1899

Here's Owens pictured with the 1905 Brooklyn Superbas. This Carl Horner cabinet photo can be purchased at RMY auctions.

Harry Arndt 1902

It's relatively rare to find such good photos of early St. Louis Cardinals players. Here's Arndt photographed by Carl Horner and up for auction at RMY.

Fred Abbott 1903

Early Cleveland catcher Abbott, in what is undoubtedly the finest image I've seen of him. This photo is up for auction at RMY.

Tom Colcolough 1893

Colcolough pitched in the big leagues for a few years, mostly with Pittsburgh. He was decidedly ineffective, though somehow he managed to win 8 games in 1894 with an ERA over 7. That's impressive.

Charlie Armbruster 1905

Backup catcher for the early Boston Red Sox, Armbruster is featured here in a nice cabinet photo by Carl Horner. The original is for sale at RMY auctions.

Until now I had always thought that this was an image of Bill O'Hara as depicted in baseball reference and indeed our facepack.

Both Tom O'Hara and Bill O'Hara played for St. Louis. So your post prompted me to do some checking to investigate that the images in our facepack for Tom and Bill O'Hara were the wrong way round.

Check 1 was the uniforms when the respective O'Hara's played for St.Louis. The uniform shown is representative of the 1906 and 1907 team when Tom played not the 1910 team when Bill played. 1 vote for Tom.

Check 2 was to check Bill O'Hara's image on the 1909 New York Giants composite. The image seemed to more closely resemble that we wrongly have of Tom O'Hara rather than your posted version of Tom. 2nd vote for your posted image being Tom and that the images are the wrong way around in the facepack. .

Also attached is a correct image of Bill O'Hara in a St.Louis uniform.

Bill Monbouquette 1958

Not sure if these have been posted - I didn't see them in the thread and it's possible they were in an older TV folder. These popped up on eBay about a week ago. Here's Monbouquette shown with the Astros in what must have been 1969 Spring Training. He was purchased from San Francisco on December 21, 1968 and returned to SF on April 5, 1969 following Spring Training.

Greg Erardi?

They have this listing on ebay as Greg Gradi. Is it Greg Erardi perhaps?

There is no listing on baseball reference of a Greg Gradi

Greg Erardi 1977

These are the two images I have for Erardi. The photo on the left is from John Spear Photo.

To my eye, they don't match the fellow in the Topps Vault photo above. I suppose it's possible that Erardi grew the Fu Manchu mustache after the Spear photo was taken, and that he came to look more like the player in the Topps Vault photo, but I'm not seeing it.

RE: Greg Erardi 1977

Well he is listed as having worn #35 from info in baseball reference. Maybe as everyone's holiday reverie winds down someone can definitively solve this conundrum.

Randy St. Claire 1984

Randy St. Claire, 1988 Reds - St. Claire made ten relief appearances for Cincinnati after being acquired from the Expos in a mid-July trade. The scans are from a couple of slides that were in a large lot purchased last year.

Here's seldom-seen Phillies Outfielder Osborn in all his Carl Horner photographed glory. The original can be purchased at RMY auctions.
