Fastest Boxers in History!
Why are some of the Fastest punchers in history, rated so low in the Punching category which is suppose to be a part of their speed, I have read that 42 and higher is only for the very fastest punchers.
Yet here are a few with low ratings, that are clearly high up on the speed list. and also should their numbers then based raised to reflect their speed. 1. Naseem Hamad - 32 2. Adrian Broner - 34 3. Gary Russell Jr. - 35 4. Guillermo Rigondeaux - 38 5. Amir Khan - 40 6. Sugar Ray Leonard - 41 7. Roy Jones Jr. - 40 8. Joe Calzaghe - 40 9. Shane Mosley - 38 10. Zab Judah - 38 It would seem to me all of these guys should be 42 or 43 minimum. there are others that should be higher, then you have Patterson & Ray Robinson both at 46 so makes no sense. Can anyone help out here! |

That figure goes more to punch output than hand speed. Mayweather has fast hands, but doesn't throw a lot of punches.
