How often are rosters updated?

Sorry if it's been asked before. Wondering how often are the rosters are updated in OOTP 20 which include trades, new changes to a players "profile information" for hitting/pitching averages. Roster changes reflecting not only trades but slumps, hitting streaks, etc. shown on their profile that affects their performance.

new feature to update with live stats -- i can't recall exact place, so you'll have to look for a thread in forums or check if manual has been updated. that will only update ratings.

the '19 season hasn't started in this release. they do post an updated roster after the trade deadline or thereabouts.

anyway, you can see the problems if they try to update rosters in a season you are also playing out in a video game, i hope.. impossible to do without taking away most control from you on player management. it'd be more like one of those zip-pull ssb racer toys. pull the cord and just watch.

the update is a template you can start a new league with at that time,though. still a bit illogical to me... taking a roster form sept 1 and starting with it? that's not really 2019 opening day, then? but, each to their own. if you want future trades at the start of season, that's cool too. doesn't have to be logical to enjoy it.
