The end of day "lag" which I was experiencing prior to patch 2 is still there, but it's been cut down significantly. It WAS 3m20s, now it's approx 30-45s. Not ideal, but it's playable now.

Hey Markus, is that Mac problem I told you about with the 'Resume Play' button fixed?

I don't really want to try it myself because it is kin d of pain in the ass. So I am using the 'work around' until I hear it is okay...

While that is a nice improvement, it's no where close to the improvement I experienced with this one league I tested. It had been taking 55 seconds to finish the day on my computer and it's now taking only 2 seconds. I'd be interested to check your league out if you wouldn't mind opening up a ticket in tech support (see my sig for the link).

Wow again on this. A subtle and seemingly insignificant change but one that will enhance my enjoyment in that I don't have to be commissioner to take a quick dive into a player's profile to edit an annoying nickname, let's say. I otherwise don't want to be commissioner all the time because, for one thing, not being commissioner eliminates "Clone/Retire/Delete Player" from the right-click menu. Just downloaded for mac. Wow, the facegen is completely different! Didn't even realize I was playing with bad facegen.

Just to let you know looking at drafted players and it no longer Highlights the players who have never played in MLB but played in other Pro league or haven't made majors yet it is a little bit more work hassle looking back on my history if this could get a look maybe.

You're not the only one to bring this one up, but I don't understand why, myself. The uniform number feature hasn't been removed, it's just in a different spot. A little less convenient of a spot maybe, but it's nothing that should detract from the game at all.

There are two issues:

1) It doesn't inform you what numbers are unused and doesn't warn you when you're assigning a duplicate number, both features of the old system

2) It takes more clicks to get to it, which is a step backward in usability.

I can live with #2 but #1 is problematic. I could live with going to the editor if the features from #1 were implemented.

Oh ok

I usually am only in Commish mode, but if I can do this for online leagues, and it's just a bit of a hassle...and the reason is because I can retire numbers and write a blurb about the player, then that is worth it for me

Players on the DL having their number assigned to callups seems to not be happening, so that is a plus as well as to not have multiple players with the same number

I thought, possibly wrongly, that the area (header bar??) where the player profile picture or team logos is located was going back to the OOTP 14 style whereby it was in the team colours?

Football Manager does this perfectly using the two team colours, one colour is used for manager backgrounds and one for the team backgrounds if I recall correctly (don't have the game handy on my laptop right now).

There is no need in OOTP for the silly blurred (stadium?) background that is standard on every page/screen within the game with the same colour it adds absolutely nothing to the game and is at odds with the desire for a true flat UI.

There are some nice visual changes and UI adjustments in OOTP 15, but I'm adamant that losing the team background colours in team and player profile pages is a step backwards. I know the colours are there in the menu tabs/buttons but it's not the same, especially when a team has a dark blue as it's colour (e.g. Red Sox from the standard MLB game).

I'm hoping to mock up an example of how I would've coloured the UI in 15 to maintain the distinction of where a user is within the game.

What would happen if I were to make the OOTP15 folder in My Documents read-only during the installation? I don't feel like having my custom database be overwritten, and I highly prefer the OOTP14 and earlier "patch file" method of installation.

Unfortunately, I just ran another test and this issue, where unnecessary tie breakers are scheduled, is not fixed. OOTP still schedules unnecessary tie-breakers. I believe it has to do with when there is a wildcard as well as a bye in the league format.
