Big blow for Bird City and their playoff hopes. Marler is a big part of why they are in contention. They are ½ GB Springfield as of AUG 23rd.

2nd time in 2 weeks that we lost a series. A few players struggled this week. Can't wait for September to get here to have some more roster depth. Middleton won the International League North East so I won't call up but 1-2 players SEP 1st until they finish their playoffs around SEP 10th.
I am still undecided on Rush & King. I have Morales if i want to replace Rush and I have 2-3 MR to replace King. I am leaning to letting them both walk. I have 4 main arbitration cases I have to deal with. Kent, John Shay, Xu Sun & Sam Adair.

I don't understand why Atlanta who is like 25 GB signed a SP to that much $$ with a month left.

Brandywine has another player injured. I know they have a better record then my Caps but I dont see how they can beat Corvair in the NLCS.

Dont really get why a team 3 GB would trade a quality 2B/SS away. I like Anderson (Tony Fernandez)

Hate seeing the best C of all time injured.

Organa is leading the Light Side by 3½ games.

Free is in 2nd behind Organa, guess the injuries to each team might have balanced that out.

X-Wings are 16 GB.

Our 1st 3 loss week in 3 months. We have been struggling , both hitting and pitching. Garces has given 5 ER in each of his last 4 starts. He is a rookie and is going to be demoted to the pen soon. Williams and Willis have also struggled in each of their last 2 outings although they got great run support. While Eric Williams is doing great in the 4 hole many other players have been struggling, namely Duggleby. 0 for his last 13 with RISP.

Won both our games this week. Won on a walk off single by Hedges vs BC.

Called Up OF Jose Romero from AAA. Until Middleton is done with their playoff run he will be the only call up. I just needed some OF depth. Middleton has 7 OF including Brett Scott and his .476 10 HR 35 RBI. He will not be called up this year.

Sad news for one of the Endor Baseball Leagues premier pitchers. Michael Bell has suffered a CEI (predetermined). He is 7th all time in Wins at 214. 28th in ERA at 2.87, 8th in CG at 161. 7th in SH at 38. 10th in K at 2234. 2007 NL POTY. 6 time AS. 1 GG. He won a title with Chevy in 2012 and lost the WS in 2011. Will he make the HOF in 2020?

Some close races in the EBL AL West. Those 3 teams have been battling all season, especially in the 2nd half. All 3 teams have major injuries. Pine Tree keeps hanging around in the NL East but it would surprise me to see them catch Corvair.

Almost every MLB division is still up for grabs except possibly the AL East.

Shoeless Joe Jackson is doing everything he can to help win that division for Organa. MP has signed and traded for a few players, gonna be interesting to watch.

We play only AL East teams for the rest of the season. Our final game in October 1st vs EV.

Springfield is now the 3rd team to trade away a backup just to have the starter get injured soon after. Springfield still has a young Jed Leyland.

the Mike Trout news should have been posted earlier.

I dont know how to explain the Houston news.

Congrats on Oko getting # 300 (in my previous league he is the all time HR leader at 848 Hardball3, TLR3, High Heat 99)

all MLB owners were real when I started this league in 1999. Reinsdorf and Hal Steinbrenner are the only 2 left.

#600 for Pujols, he should have enough left to get to 700.

Pipgras 1st Glenbard no hitter. Bob Bellias & Jim Kanter dont have one, but he does? umm ok.

John Williams will miss the rest of the season. He has not been placed on the DL as of this time. I will reevaluate the situation when the season ends.

Duggleby is DtD with a sore wrist. Humbley & Romero will get more PT.
