You can't do a fantasy draft with real players?!?!

Are you kidding me? I've spent the last 2 hours trying to get this dang thing to do a fantasy draft using real MLB players, and nothing has worked...every time I go to do a fantasy draft it loads a bunch of fake players. Completely ridiculous, is there any way to get my money back for this game?

I'm at work now, so I can't remember where it is exactly, but there is an option to release all players and run a fantasy draft. It might under one of the drop down menus.

You spent 2 hours and didn't notice the second selection under game setup? Really? Just setup your game using any year from baseball history and click start game. Then before you advance any days go to league set up and click that button.

Start a new game with Major League players. Go to League Menu -> League Setup, and "Schedule Fantasy Draft" is the second option in the left-hand column. Note that it's only available during the preseason.

Oh also a word to the wise Accipiter.

I notice your first post on these forums was at 1:25 today and in that post you say you are a complete noob and just bought OOTP after years of BM.
You then post a slightly antagonistic post about getting you money back.

OOTP is a complex game and you will most likely have questions and there are many people here who will gladly help you but not if you come in with an attitude.

And when you finish scheduling that fantasy draft the polite thing to do is say thanks

Agreed also bm is very simplistic I played it before I found ootp . I didn't like that bmo was so limited and I couldn't do what I wanted to do and I love ootp so much better . But u have to get use to it and u have to read the manual sometimes . I to had issues way back in like version six as I was Tring to make my own league and had issues and I had little time so I was turned off of ootp then for a few yrs but once I was done with deployments I sat down and try it again and read into the game and jumped right in and that version was a lot better and could do what I wanted it to do . Just have to read and ask and just try a practice league first the u can start that keeper league once u get the hang of it . Ootp is the best baseball game out there .

OOTP can do almost anything. Clearly you didn't bother to look at the menus or read the manual or read the forum, but just came straight here and unloaded. With that kind of attitude you're lucky that anyone will help you. I certainly won't.
