The United States of Baseball is currently looking for new members to fill out our league. We are fantasy based league using some real players with an interesting alternative history concept. Our back story is very unique and well written and our GM’s are continually adding to the open-ended story.

Our league offers:
• 3 sims of 7 days per week
• A professionally created website and forum
• 144 game season
• League chat box (ComeChat) that allows for interaction between GM’s without having to download or use AIM
• Live bidding for the top notch free agents each offseason
• Active trading amongst a good group of GM’s
• An incentive point system that allows you to upgrade your players
• Possible league expansion

League settings:
• Coaching and scouting is turned off
• Players are rated on the 1-10 scale
• DH for both leagues
• 3 rounds of playoffs
• 3 levels of minor leagues

I can testify that the USoB is a great place to be. I joined this past fall. As it was my first online OOTP experience, there was a bit of a learning curve. All the GM's were extremely helpful and accommodating.

It's a writing league, so taking up the role of a beat reporter covering your team is a fun and productive way to approach it. You'll be rewarded for contributing with the ability to upgrade your players at the end of the season.

The web interface is top notch as well.

So no matter if you're a game veteran or a newbie like I was, the USoB is a great place to make your OOTP online home.

The USoB is expanding prior to the 2015 season. 4 new teams will enter the league. Come join now so you can have some input on your team nickname, colors, etc…

We are also having a large class of international free agents, and expansion teams will be granted an exclusive negotiating window prior to the rest of the league to sign the top talent.

On top of the international free agents, there will be an expansion draft as well. With both of those factors involved, the expansion teams will have a great opportunity to come in and be competitive their very first season.

Full yes, but we're always looking to add interested members to our ranks and waiting list. We'd love to build a base of beat writers to use as a pool for future expansion and to backfill open teams.

UPDATE:

We have had 2 owners back out due to personal issues.

Expansion team Skagway Klondikes are open and so are the Edmonton Inferno.

Skagway has been one of the most aggressive teams in international free agency thus far, landing lots of talent.

Edmonton lost in the 1st round of the playoffs, and boasts the #6 minor league system in the game.

We are just entering the offseason, so this is the perfect time to join.
