I am in the camp that likes variety (more is better, like in nature) so do it!

I like the look and the idea but can you decrease the amount of the folded part and maybe add another tiny fold or a tiny tear?

I haven’t done anything like these before, so I’ve played around with a lot of things. I initially had a smaller fold... but I like the way this size partially covers the main logo. Also, the secondary color wasn’t as prevalent.

Adding a tear or something could be interesting (along the bottom perhaps?). Where would a second fold look good? I don’t want to make them too busy, nor do I want to beat them up too much.

Im sure there will be differing opinions, and all are welcome.

How's this one with some 'burn holes' kinda? Im thinking that more effects may be too busy...

Can you leave just the Yankees logo with the burn holes? looks better that way

If you like the 'big' fold then I wouldn't add another - don't want to take up too much real estate. Probably the same with a tear. I googled stickers offering my advice and there were quite a few with almost the exact style you created. So, imo, if you like it stick with it. They look good.

Daaaang... totally missed that!! heh. As a sox fan, i hate the yankees... yet I find myself using their logo as a sample fairly often. I suppose its subconcious respect?... Or I dont mind screwing up their logo with my testing!!!

Indeed. I stumbled across a tutorial on Deviantart and immediately set to duplicating it.

Im not very original... my inspiration mostly comes from others.
