Rookies With Contracts
I have found 5 or 6 rookies who have salaries above the minimum and are on contracts with expiry dates. We are in the 3rd week of the season now.
How is this possible? |

high profile draft picks (1st rounders) are signed to contracts beyond minor league deals, since they are projected to become MLBers, just like in real life

What league/file are you using? If it is a "user created" one then that is why.

The rookies are imported from the career Ankit and then edited by me.
Are you saying that only if the Lahman DB is used, will no contracts be assigned to rookies? |
